Type: Shop installation
Location: Hamburg
Year of completion: 2009
Area: 12sqm

Playing on the concept of a Rorschach (“ink blot”) test, a psychological test in which ink blots are turned and interpreted in a particular order, Dirk Bonn and ErenlerBauer set up a temporary installation for a Nike pop-up event in Hamburg. Derived from a two-dimensional graphic of Nike Airmax shoe components, a three-dimensional mobile hangs in the air. The elements of the mobile hover at a distance from one another to create a surreal image that the viewer can only see the original graphic from the front perspective.
